Luther Oran Collins , Surprise, Arizona went to be with the Lord at the age of 95 on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Hospice of the Valley. He was born November 4, 1929 in Spiceland, Indiana to the late Claude and Irene (Day) Collins. Luther spent his life serving the Lord and retired as an Evangelist he was a beloved member of Restoring Hope Community Church of the Nazarene.
Luther was married to the late Patty Collins for 57 years until her passing in 2021. He is survived by his daughter, Carol Wyllie of Bloomington, Indiana grandchildren Mira Ellie Scott Bloomington, Indiana, Kristina Keith Wyllie Jackson of Noblesville, Indiana and Christopher Rollie Wyllie Fremont, Indiana. He was blessed with six great-grandchildren Devon, Daniel, David, Dakota, Jaden and Ethan. Three great-great grandchildren Nova, Niklaus, Dean. He is also survived by his Sister Beulah Marie Collins, nephew Brent Ware and great- nephew Brendon Ware.
He was predeceased by his parents Claude Collins and Irene Taylor, his sister Virginia and her husband Richard Ware and their son Greg Ware.
