Marcheta (Keta) M. Hagen, 80, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away July 4, 2018. She was born in 1937 in Kentucky to Columbus and Lurlie (Sanders) Floyd. Marcheta attended Kent State University where she met the love of her life, her husband, Bob Hagen. She spent most of her career in various executive positions in the air cargo industry but always said motherhood was her most important job. She was an avid sports fan and was a lifetime horse racing enthusiast. She also enjoyed politics, people and current events. As a close friend once said, Keta was interested in everyone and everything.
Keta was very much loved by all of her family. She was predeceased by her husband, radio newsman Robert (Bob) Hagen, her father, her stepmother Margaret G. Floyd, her sister Ann Floyd and her son, Christopher Todd Hagen. She is survived her children Cheryl M. Hagen, Laura L. Hagen, and Kenneth R. (John Young) Hagen; her siblings Christine Lyons-Holzwarth, Catherine (Paul) Yasilli, Robert (Pyong) Floyd, James Floyd, and Stephan (Tavia) Floyd, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held Friday, July 13th at Sunland Memorial Park in Sun City, AZ. Donations in her memory may be made to Catholic Charities or your local pet Humane Society.
