I would like Keta's family know how much I love her. We had a special connection through Twitter, first meeting through our love of horses. We became closer as we had some similar physical issues and would discuss them privately. When I shared some of my song lyrics and spoken word pieces she really seemed to appreciate them.

I was looking back through our messages and the first song lyric I sent her was "Brother." She loved it and said if I ever recorded it to let her know. I started recording more a couple of years ago, but failed to remember her request. I'm bothered she could never hear the full song.

We both also LOVED tennis and would chat during matches, even the ones in the middle of the night during the Aussie Open. She often checked on me as I left Twitter a lot. My heart was broken upon hearing of her passing. She was SO looking forward to Wimbledon. We were both rooting for Rafa this year. In fact, I think she may have helped Federer make an early exit. It's been hard to watch the matches without her. I still keep wanting to message her about a certain point.

Oh, Dear Keta, I have been missing you so much. I'm glad I let you know how much you meant to me. I appreciate you letting me know the same. My Aunt Cordee has heard a lot about you and she, with her husband, Ron, plan to be at your memorial, on my behalf. They have a great appreciation from the stories I've shared with them. They are very touched by your thoughtful kindness, your courage, and friendship.

I talked to Barbara Livingston about getting you some Songbird photos. I sent a message to Kathleen too, about your banner photo of Songbird. I know you love that horse.

I sent some brightly colored flowers. I hope you like them. I believe you can see them. I will always carry you in my heart. Say hi to ALL the horses you meet, OK? I love you and will never forget you,

Sending my courage and love to you and your family. These purple irises are from a walk in 2016. Love.
