

Margaret “Fuz” Weber, 93, passed away October 21, 2012 in Sun City, AZ. Born December 18, 1918 to Jessie and Frank Boyrie on the big island of Hawaii. She met her husband of 63 years, Capt. Bruce Weber, while he was stationed in Hawaii. They were married in Yuma, AZ in 1940. Bruce served in the U.S. Navy as a carrier based fighter pilot, during WWII, Vietnam and Korea. He received many commendations, such as The Navy Cross and the Distinguished Flying Cross and Legion of Merit. Margaret traveled with Bruce to his man Commands. They retired in Colorado Springs after 32 years in the service. Bruce preceded Fuz in death in 2003. They had two sons, Lance and Stewart. Both preceded their parents in death. They each had 2 sons, Britton and Justin, and Michael and David. Also, 2 Great Grand-daughters, Cassandra and Alexandra. In 1994, the Weber’s moved to Goodyear, AZ, where they played golf and enjoyed Southwest living. Fuz was living at the Woodmark in Sun City where she was well taken care of by wonderful caregivers along with Hospice of the Valley, who also gave great care. There will be a Memorial Service for both Margaret and Bruce at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Cave Creek, AZ on Monday, November 26, 2012 at 10:30am.
