Marjorie Lou Ridgway was born in Baltimore, Maryland to Louis and Eva Langhammer. Growing up in the 1950's Marjorie enjoyed the values and freedoms of mid-century America. Marjorie was a dancer all her life and even well into retirement she continued to dance as often as she could. She was always the life of the party. Especially at dance parties. She was the person you could lean on and look to for answers not easily found. She cared so much for her friends and family and could truly light up any room she walked into.
Marjorie was a homemaker in her own home and worked diligently to always have a warm and comfortable setting for her friends and family to visit. She loved the company of her loved ones and friends and could often be found talking or visiting with a friend or family member. She learned to play instruments and later would become a excellent organ player. She would go on to play the organ for many years at multiple venues and family gatherings as well as her church.
Marjorie was married later in life to Clifton Ridgway. Clifton would spend the remainder of his life with Marjorie and the two would enjoy six loving years together until Clifton's passing in November of 2018.
Marjorie was the life of the party and the light of the room. She lived her life her way. Marjorie will be forever missed by those who were blessed to have known her.
A visitation for Marjorie will be held Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Sunland Memorial Park, Mortuary & Crematory, 15826 North Del Webb Blvd, Sun City, AZ 85351.
