Marlene Saperstein, 82, of Sun City, AZ, passed away on April 29, 2016. Marlene was born in Boston, MA and graduated from Simmons College. She was a teacher and loved working with children. She wrote a self-published children’s book, “Melech Tapuach: King of the Apples” to educate young children about the Jewish holidays. Marlene is survived by her children, Dr. Andrea (Barry) Gropman and Dr. David (Fran) Saperstein and granddaughter, Eliana Gropman. A funeral service will be held at 10 am, Tuesday, May 3 at Sunland Mortuary, 15826 Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ. Shivah will be observed at the home of David and Fran Saperstein in Phoenix.
