Martin Michael Grady

Martin Michael Grady (Marty) of Surprise, Az passed away on January 1, 2025. He was 79 years old. He leaves behind his wife Barbara who he was married to for 55 years and his son Chris (who was the light of his life). Born in Philadelphia, Pa. he was the son of Martin A. and Mary Grady. Marty also had one brother Robert (deceased) and two sisters, Joan (deceased) and Patsy. He also had a nephew Rick and a niece Patty.

Marty attended Drexel University in Philadelphia with a B.A. in Mechanical Engineering and was two years into his Masters for Business. He worked for Westinghouse Electric, Joy Manufacturing and Rockwell International.

Marty and Barbara retired early with a move to Arizona. He decided to go back to work and designed for Salazar Landscaping for 5 years. Always wanting something to do he purchased an ATV and started a club in Sun City Grand for people who wanted to explore the back country of Arizona. He accumulated 60,000 miles on his ATV. The club is still going to this day. He also joined the Trap Shooting club and every Wednesday went to Ben Avery shooting range for a get-together. Marty also loved going to the gym and then the pool meeting his buddies along the way.

Marty had a love of life and would do anything for his neighbors and friends and loved his family unconditionally.
