Eulogies from my friends and relative.
Alan Bornstein: Your mom was the only one that wrote him during the Viet Nam war.
Rick Flom: When I was just starting out in business of selling, I sold vacuum cleaners. She bought the only one I ever sold. I tell people she started me in sales.
Mike Frankot: I loved your mom, Joe, Denny; Marv said essentially the same thing.

I had a conversation with my mother  a few years back where she said to me Frank , 100 years from now, nobody will ever remember you where here. I responded 10 years from now nobody will remember you where here. I then said to her, I will remember you as long as I am here, I will remember you. 
Mom suffered from the infirmities of old age including mental complications. She had all the greatest intentions in the world. Her goal like my fathers was to provide for there children, thou I never agreed with that intention for us in our adult years, it was not my decision. 
I had many remarkable experiences with mom but there are 4 that stand out.
1. When I was 12 or so my mother took me to have a cast removed from my leg. While we where in the elevator we saw a small woman carrying her son in her arms up to see the same doctor. When we got off the elevator I said to mom how can the lady do that the boy was twice the size of his mother. She said I would do the same for you. I was bigger then mom at that time. I said how could you do that? She said, I just I would.
I knew my mom time was short so I asked myself what great thing I could do for my mother to show my mother my love for her. It was Passover time, this year. I said I am going to make a sedar for her with her as the significant person at the sedar and I will perform the sedar. I made a complete audio visual presentation for a sedar with memories of sedars in our family history; the presentation was projected on the wall in PowerPoint application, 5'x5'.
 I had relative's good friends and 3 dogs, and my girlfriend made a huge and I mean huge feast. For months mom could not stop talking about it and bragging about it. It made me feel so good.
3. Before I went on this recent vacation. I decided to bring in a photo album that had many old pictures of her when her and dad where young I took her down memory lane, She enjoyed that. I then kissed her goodbye, something told me this might be the last I time I would see her alive. This came to pass.
4. When I was about 7 years old. I watched a movie on TV called lost horizon of Shang ra la. It was about a mythical utopia in the Himalaya Mountains. When the movie was over I went and asked my mother if their really was a place called shangra la. She said its just a movie Franky.  I was sad. She saw I was sad. She immediately said Oh you mean shangra la? I said yes. She then said you are right there is such a place. I said can I go their some day she said you will. Well mom I hope you are their now. In years to come you and dad and me will meet again in shangra la. Look for me.
â€¢ So mom a toast to you This the last line from the Movie lost horizons of shangra la
â€œYes. Yes, I believe it. I believe it because I want to believe it. Gentlemen, I give you a toast. Here's my hope that Robert Conway will find his Shangri-La. Here's my hope that we all find our Shangri-Laâ€.
