Nancy was born on the island of Stromboli in Italy, to Catherine and Vincent Lo Schiavo. She arrived with her parents and brother to the United States in 1939. She lived in Brooklyn, New York. As a young woman, she worked making women’s clothing in the garment industry.
She married Dorino Bartolini on June 27, 1953, shortly after Dorino returned from his service in the US Army during the Korean War (veteran). They were married for 56 years. They later moved to California in 1965 to start a new life with their 3 young children. Later, they moved to Arizona, where they both loved the sunshine and mild winters. They resided in Arizona for over 50 years.
Nancy was a very Loving, Caring, and Hardworking wife to her husband, and mother to her three children, John, Robert, and Laura. She worked from time to time, but primarily as a housewife who had the cleanest home. She was also an excellent Italian cook. Our Family had many great meals together with her. Nancy was an excellent artist as well.
Nancy was a true Catholic who loved the Lord and her Faith. She prayed for everyone in our Family and others who were sick or had hardships. She anointed sick family members with the Holy Water of the Grotto from Lourdes, France where St. Bernadette had a vision of the Blessed Mother. Her prayers were almost always answered.
Her love will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her. She had a generous spirit and was loved by many. Together, Nancy and Dorino raised their three children and were parishioners at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church for many years.
Nancy is preceded in death by her husband David Bart (Dorino), brother Salvatore Lo Schiavo, and parents Vincent and Catherine Lo Schiavo.

Her six grandchildren Dawn Ringling, Ryan Bart, Brandon Bart, Marcus San Marino, Thomas Szymanoski and Jared Ocean.
