Nancy Jayne Griffith

Nancy Jayne Griffith, a beloved and cherished resident of Sun City, Arizona, passed away on September 4, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on February 26, 1937, Nancy touched the lives of many with her warmth and kindness.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Charles Griffith. Nancy was a loving mother to her sons, Tom Carey (Lisa), Bill Carey (Ronda), and Robert Carey (Dorothy). Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Sean Carey, Anthony Carey, Thomas Carey, Mia Carey, Carli Carey, Lucie, Jason, Becky, and Sarah. She also leaves behind her stepdaughter, Loretta Bennett, and step-grandchildren, Kevin Bennett, Pedro Bennett, Crystal Bennett, Natalie McCord.

Nancy is fondly remembered by her brothers, Ron Chess and Tim Chess (Rose). She was predeceased by her sister, Joan Carter, and her brother-in-law, Steve Carter.

A visitation will be held at Sunland Memorial Park, Mortuary & Crematory, located at 15826 North Del Webb Blvd, Sun City, AZ 85351, on September 17, 2025, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. A Celebration of Life will follow at the same venue from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. The committal service will take place from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm at Sunland Memorial Park, Mortuary & Cremation Center.

Nancy will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
