

Nancy was Born on September 12th, 1944, in Michigan, Nancy lived a life filled with love, adventure, and service. Nancy grew up in a close-knit family, splitting her life between living in Michigan and Arizona, surrounded by her parents, Roy and Hazel Nay, her brother Cecil Nay, and her sister Nadean Bushroe. As the youngest of her siblings, Nancy cherished the time spent with her family, especially the memories made at the family cabin, built by her father and brother at Opal Lake in northern Michigan. There they always enjoyed the beauty of nature and the joy of togetherness.
A woman of many talents and passions, Nancy became a skilled pilot, a notable achievement that set her apart. She also pursued a successful career in business, where her sharp mind and strong work ethic were evident to all who knew her. Nancy's life in Sun City was marked by a love for golf, which she played with enthusiasm, and a special fondness for Tweety Bird, reflecting her playful spirit. Nancy’s Christian faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her to give freely to numerous charitable causes, including food shelters, children’s support networks, education, and veterans’ organizations.
Nancy will be remembered for all the heart she shared with her friends and family. She truly loved each of them, and if you knew her, you knew it. When her time came, she carried herself with dignity, strength, and full of love for those who went before her. Nancy’s legacy of generosity, kindness, and quiet strength will be cherished by her family and the many lives she touched through her humanitarian efforts. She will be missed dearly.
Nancy was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Roy and Hazel Nay, her brother Cecil Nay, and her sister Nadean Bushroe. She is survived by her cousins Roberta Williams, Earle Nay, Kim Elizabeth, Mike McFall, Gary McFall, Kenneth Nay, Katherine Nay, and Amelia Roberts.
Nancy will be interred on Thursday, August 15th, near her beloved parents and brother at Sunland Memorial Park in Sun City, AZ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to an Arizona Native American charity, a food network, or a veterans’ support charity.
