Patricia Laurella Albert, age 88, passed away August 10, 2021. Patricia was born on February 18, 1933 in Los Angeles, California to George and Edna (Pearce (Clarke). She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Albert Jr. in 2006. Patricia is survived by her daughters Anna (Michael) Patterson and Teresa Avery; her brother Tom Clarke; as well as her five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Patricia and her husband raised their children in the city of Baldwin Park and later moved to Pinion Hills to enjoy a more rural life after retirement. They did a little traveling and enjoyed the beautiful views from their patio in the High Desert. Her husband became ill and passed away after 53 years of marriage. She moved a few years later to Anthem, Arizona, near her oldest daughter, where she passed away 5 years later under Hospice Care.
Her family knows she had a good, long life. They have pictures, old movie films and memories to remind them of that. She rode on the back of Frank's Harley, was one of the original "River Rats" and loved to dance at neighborhood parties. She was a great seamstress. Her husband loved every Hawaiian shirt and Halloween costume she made for him. Her daughters still speak of their favorite outfits she made for their skating competitions, dances, and weddings. She was petite in stature in her younger years, but evidently would become fierce if someone picked on her younger brother.
"Say not in grief she is no more, but in thankfulness that she was." - Hebrew Proverb
