Pat is predeceased by his beloved wife, Karen of 39 years and his father, Harry Wellert.
Pat is lovingly honored and remembered by his mother, Theresa Wellert of Glendale, Arizona; his daughter, Stephanie of Peoria, Arizona (husband, Raghav; children, Peytyn and Kiptin); his son, Patrick of Chino Valley, Arizona (wife, Leanne; son, Zachary) and his brother, Mike of Montana (wife, Judy).
Pat was born in Port Washington, Wisconsin on September 29, 1951. He graduated from Port Washington High School in 1969. He worked as Deputy Sheriff for Ozaukee County, Wisconsin. He also worked as a concrete cement truck driver for 18 years. Pat married the love of his life, Karen, in Fox Point, Wisconsin on February 8, 1975. Together, they became passionate about geriatric care in their local community. They developed Adultcare Assistant Homecare and worked in the field together for 18 years.
Above all else, Pat loved people, and loved his family. He was comedic, sarcastic, and authentic, able to make a friend in any walk of life. He and Karen often vacationed at the Wynn in Las Vegas. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, listening to country music, and liked to be called “The Legend.” Pat always adored animals, especially he and Karen’s dog, Rowdy. Beyond everything, he valued simple contentment in life, such as taking his kids fishing.
The celebration of Pat’s life will be held at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, 9728 W. Palmeras Drive on Monday, October 2nd at 10:00am.
Arrangements under the direction of Sunland Memorial Park, Mortuary & Cremation Center, Sun City, AZ.
