Priscilla Ann "Pat" Walters, 89, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on October 16, 2011. She was born October 18, 1921 in Hastings, Nebraska to Fred A. Cook and Elsie L. Cook. She married Dale Walters in 1942 and worked at the Naval Ammunition Depot in Hastings during World War II. She later moved to Phoenix in 1958 and worked as a bookkeeper for the C.R. Anthony Co. from 1958 until her retirement in 1985. She loved being around her family and friends and especially enjoyed a trip to Hawaii in 2000 with her husband Dale, son Scott and daughter-in-law Beth. A.J's Fine Foods was one of her favorite places and made many friends while sitting on the patio drinking her iced tea. Her passion for decorating during the holidays, especially Christmas amazed everyone. She so enjoyed parties and holding her annual Christmas party in particular. She lived, loved and laughed up until the very end and will be missed so much by her family and many friends. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Dale, son Scott (Beth) of Surprise, granddog Kula, sister-in-law Beverly Cook of Phoenix and her many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Wayne D. Cook.
