Weinstein, Randi Barocas, 40, of Peoria, passed away in her sleep on June 25. She is survived by her young daughter, Sophie; her father, Jerry Barocas; brother, David Barocas; and domestic partner, Michael Weinstein. Randi was the Managing Editor of the Phoenix Business Journal, where she worked since 2000. She was an active member of AZ Women in Media. She graduated with a B.S. in Journalism from The University of Kansas (’94) where she was a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority. Randi loved to laugh and had the most dazzling smile. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 28 at Sunland Memorial at 15826 Del Webb Blvd. in Sun City. In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to Sophie Weinstein’s college fund at Ohio Tuition Trust Authority.
