Ray B. Daley

Beloved husband, father & grandfather, passed away unexpectedly in Sun City, AZ on November 1, 2013 at the age of 75. Ray was born September 9, 1938 in Sargent, NE to Eldon & Mildred Daley. He was raised in Nebraska and graduated from Benson High School in 1956. He served as a Yeoman, 2nd Class in the Navy from 1957-1959. Afterwards, he moved to Cincinnati, OH where he worked as a computer programmer for Ohio Casualty Insurance Co., and The Kroger Co. He married his soul mate and great love of his life, Susan Vogel, on March 14, 1970. They were happily married for 41 years until her passing on August 22, 2011. They lived for many years in Shandon, OH, where they designed and built their dream home. They moved to Sun City, AZ in 1993 to live near both their families. Ray & Sue enjoyed their many hobbies together including gardening, genealogy research, and collecting antiques. Ray was preceded in death by his wife Susan Daley and his parents Eldon and Mildred Daley. He is survived by his daughter Karolina Donis (Paul), grandchildren Emily Donis and Joseph Donis, brother-in-law Jim Vogel (Wah), and nieces Laura Vogel Abernathie (Brenon) and Jennifer Vogel Sabelka (Brian).
