Richard Alan Pavlicek, age 85, of Sun City West, Arizona passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024.

Richard Alan Pavlicek, born on March 3, 1939, in Oberlin, Kansas, passed away on December 2, 2024, in Sun City West, Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Mildred Pavlicek, and his brother, Robert Pavlicek. Richard is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Mary Beth Pavlicek, whom he married on August 16, 1964. He leaves behind two daughters, Jennifer Pavlicek of Scottsdale, Arizona, and Julie Landers, along with her husband Edward Landers, of Gilbert, Arizona. Richard was a proud grandfather to Josie Landers of New York, New York, and Edward and Nicholas Landers of Gilbert, Arizona.

He attended Fort Hays University where he was an active member of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity, graduating in 1964 with a degree in Business. Richard served his country for two years in the United States Army. He then embarked on a successful career in the finance and banking industries, dedicating over four decades to his profession. During that time, he completed an advanced banking degree from Colorado University. Richard was an active member of his community, contributing his time and efforts to the Lion's Club. As an Apple enthusiast, he was involved in the local computer club. Richard was a skilled handyman and always had a project in the works. He was also an avid fan of college basketball, enjoying the excitement and camaraderie of attending games.

Richard's life was marked by dedication to his family, his career, and his community. He will be remembered for his commitment, kindness, and the joy he brought to those around him. His legacy lives on through his family and the many lives he touched.
