My deepest sympathy to the Beckley family. I maintain a website of the USS Stokes (AKA-68) and her history during World War II in our local library.

Rosemary and family,
So sad to hear of Bob's passing. Even though 10 years his junior, we were Stow friends for life. I have now been in Stow 77 years and know first hand about the loss of a partner. My wife of 55 years passed away in November. The LORDS blessing on each of your family.

We send our sympathy on Bob's passing to Rosemary and extended family. We have fond memories of your time in Stow....track meets especially.
Rosemary...We bought our first home from Bob in 1966, and we're still there having raised our two children on Hawthorne Ave. Still love the neighbors and neighborhood.
Gary...Think of you often especially on February 4, and during track season!

It was such a pleasure to get to know Bob while he was here at the Arbor. He always had a smile for me and I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers go out to Rosemary and his family.

Don & Lorine Wade send their most sincere condolences on the passing of a dear friend. Rosemary helped furnish our home when we moved to Sun City in 1988 and Bob and Don found out that they were born just hours apart, Bob on Oct 4, Don on Oct 5. Then they began exchanging the SAME birthday card and Christmas cards for years after that. Those cards began to look very beat up and full of wise cracks to each one of the men over the years that they were slipped into each other's mailbox, secretly, we hoped.. Bob kept us in stitches every time we got together. We will miss him very much.
