Ron Spindle was a native from Colorado. He attended Boulder High School. In 1967 he was inducted into the Army. He was supervisor for the King Soopers, (Kroger) food chain in Boulder.
His greatest love at that time was tennis. He played in many tournaments and usually came back a winner. He decided to teach girls and boys tennis at the Boulder High School. He had some excellent students! He was highly respected as an awesome coach. He had never married. At the age of 50, he was encouraged by friends to take line dance lessons. This is when his life changed. He met a widow, (Pat Spindle) who was also encouraged by friends to take line dance lessons. His love of tennis changed to loving me! We were married on June 17, 1995. He was so easy to love. He became my husband, best friend, dance partner and stepdad to three adult children, Debbie, Bill and Joe. We soon became a family. He now was a grandpa to Eric and Joey. After 23 years, Colorado got too cold or we got too old. We decided to move to Arizona. Our grandson Eric and his family lived in Surprise and we loved our visits to see the great grandkids, Ava and Ethan. The weather was amazing. Shortly after moving here, Ron’s dementia became much worse. I thank God for the time I had with him. We had 27 wonderful years of marriage. He was truly my blessing!
