Rosemary Louise Goonan

Rosemary was born in Chicago Heights, Illinois and graduated from Bloom High School, Class of 1974. She moved to Phoenix, Arizona with her parents in 1989 and remained a resident of Arizona until her death. Rosemary was a hard worker and tried her best to do good in the world. Over her lifetime she was active with many organizations and activities including Bloom High School Alumni, Special Olympics, local Catholic churches, bowling, and swimming. Most of all she loved spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her brother Thomas Goonan, sister Kathleen (Buford) Goonan, Aunt Mary (Winslow) Goonan, niece Annemarie (Huyer) Goonan, nephew Michael Goonan, nephew Carter Buford, niece Nina Buford and grandnieces and grandnephews Evan and Molly Huyer, and Megan, Andrew, Isabel, and Olivia Goonan and many beloved cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents Donald and Louise (Clement) Goonan, brothers Stephen and Kenneth, nephew Jordan Goonan and sister-in-law Marijane Goonan.

A memorial and burial service will take place in New Hampshire at a later date. In lieu of flowers, you may make donations to Special Olympics.
