Ruth Catherine Hoffmann passed away January 7, 2014 in Phoenix, AZ at the age of 97. She was born August 28, 1916 in Brooklyn, New York and resided in Sun City West with her surviving spouse Vincent Hoffmann. Ruth is survived by her loving children son Robert (Carol Ann) Hoffmann and daughter Catherine (Manny) Droz. Her grandchildren Scott (Tracy) Hoffmann, Jason (Kacey) Droz, Julia (Damian) Serafine, Melanie (Matthew) Shawcroft. Her beautiful great grandchildren Jayden Droz, Hudson Droz, Greyson Droz, Oakley Ruth Droz, Sofia Serafine, Gabriella Serafine, Ava Serafine, Berrett Shawcroft, and Austin Stout. Her love of children, animals and New York sense of humor will be greatly missed as will her smile and kind heart. Services will be held private.
