Ruth (“GG”) was a Christian and a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was an accomplished singer and synchronized swimmer. But most of all, at the center of her life, always was the joy and love of her family and friends.
Ruth is survived by her daughter Nancy Wissink (Jerry), grandchildren Debbie Shumway (Lynn), Cindy Ghost (Kurt), Mike Wissink (Susan), and great grandchildren Katie, Mike, and Elizabeth Shumway, Johnny, Allison, and Andy Wissink and Emily Ghost.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Melville of Des Moines, Iowa and later Sun City, Az. Ruth has resided at Sierra Winds, Peoria, Az. for the past 18 years.
A Memorial Service celebrating Ruth’s life will be held on Saturday, August 25, 10 a.m., at Valley Presbyterian Church (Chapel) 6947 E McDonald Drive, Paradise Valley, Az
