Shirley married Colonel Gray, and together they have two children. She enjoyed attending church and community activities, such as crafts and lectures.
Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Colonel (2002). She is survived by her son, David Gray (Ohio); daughter, Leslie Gray (Arizona); three grandchildren; three great grandchildren, and sister-in-law, Jean Gray.
