

Shonda was born on February 20, 1975, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, to Robert John Popp Jr. and Joyce Anne Popp. She dedicated her life to learning and service, earning two bachelor’s degrees, a master’s degree, and certification as a psychologist. Throughout her career, she devoted herself to helping others find clarity, healing, and hope.
Shonda is survived by her son, Trace, and her mother, Joyce. She was preceded in death by her father, Bob, and her brother, Kenny.
In accordance with Shonda’s wishes, no public service will be held. Those who wish to honor her memory are encouraged to make a donation to their local Humane Society. Shonda had a deep love for animals and spent much of her life caring for them with compassion and tenderness.
She will be remembered for her generous heart, her creativity, her love of crafting, and the joyful moments she shared with her son. Her warmth and kindness touched everyone around her.
