Stacey Ann (Slepski) Neill passed away on October 10, 2026, after a long illness, surrounded by her family. She was born on December 25, 1963, in Youngstown, Ohio, to Richard and Marian Slepski. After graduating from Austintown Fitch High School, Stacey met her future husband, Rodney Neill. In the early years of their marriage, she worked in the medical field, handling insurance billing for doctors’ offices and hospitals. In 1997, she began her most important role with the birth of her first child, Matthew; four years later, Emily was born. After Rodney’s passing in 2009 Stacey moved with her young children to Arizona to be close to family. There, she continued her career in medical billing and volunteering at her children’s schools, serving for many years as PTO president. Stacey met her longtime partner, Floyd Stauffer, and together they blended their families. Her greatest passion was always her children and grandchildren.
Stacey was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney, and her father, Richard Slepski. She is survived by her children, Matthew Neill and Emily Neill; her grandson, Joseph; her mother, Marian Slepski; her sister, Robyn Anderson (Robert); her brother, Richard Slepski; her longtime partner, Floyd Stauffer; nephews, Tyler Sumrok, Andrew Anderson and Ryan Slepski; her niece Jen Mazonas.
