Susan was born in Phoenix, on December 12, 1957, making her a true Arizona native. After completing high school and receiving her diploma she started work with the Arizona Department Library, Archives and Public Records. She worked there for many years and then decided to work in the private sector. She was employed first by the law firm of O’Connor Cavanaugh and later the law firm of Fennemore Craig.
During her lifetime, Susan had several varied interests. She enjoyed horseback riding and when she was not riding, she learned the names of the various breeds. She enjoyed movies such as Pride and Prejudice, and other period films such as Persuasion and Sense and Sensibility. She enjoyed several of the Hitchcock classics such as Rear Window, To Catch a Thief and North by Northwest. She also enjoyed the Thin Man movies with William Powell and Myrna Loy. She had a fondness for music, especially The Cars, Pat Benatar, Carly Simon and Credence Clearwater and Revival. She also enjoyed watching several television programs and her favorites were Hart to Hart, NCIS, the Sherlock Holmes series with Jeremy Brett and the Hercule Poirot series with David Suchet. Susan loved animals and adopted a cocker poo and a Schnauzer which were her constant companions. She also loved antiquing and acquired several items for her home.
Susan will be sadly missed by her husband, her family and her friends but she will always live in our hearts and will always be remembered as a kind, caring and loving person.
