Thelma Jeanette Permenter

Thelma Jeanette Permenter age 72, passed away on May 8, 2013 in Las Vegas, NV. Jeanette was given to us on December 24, 1940. Charles and Eileen Harkins raised Jeanette and her Sister Joyce in Natchitoches, Louisiana until the age of 13 when her family moved to Houston, Texas. There she attended Johnston Jr. High and graduated from San Jacinto High School in 1958. That November 1958 Jeanette met Roy Allen Permenter through Robert his twin brother’s wife Anne Parsons Permenter and married on January 29, 1960. They moved and settled in La Mirada California in 1967. Jeanette worked in the family built business as the Secretary of Treasury From 1968 until 1998. Jeanette and Roy moved to Santa Fe Texas 1998 and then retired to Surprise Arizona in 2004. Jeanette and Roy had three children, Lydia June, Charlotte Janell and Tiffeny Jean whose lives she poured endless love into so that they will always have her warmth to draw from. Her grandchildren Robert and Nicole De Leon, Chelsea, Farrah and Billy Rasberry, Anthony and Vincent De Benedetto will remember their grandmother for the sweet caring hugs she gave and the generous heart she shared with them daily. Jeanette and Roy were married for 53 years, all of which her tender love, devotion and support will remain his strength until they meet again. Her gift to the lives she touched was the endless love and kindness she gave in every word, touch and deed. She was the closest one can come to being an angel. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 17 from 5-8 PM, at Sunland Memorial Park and Mortuary, 15826 W. Del Webb Blvd., Sun City. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 AM, Saturday, May 18 at Sunland Memorial Park and Mortuary. Interment will be held at Sunland Memorial Park.
