Travis E. Whitlow passed away on December 1st. at the age of 83. He leaves behind his wife Audrie of 43 years. His daughter Sheri (Phil), Son Scott (Carol). Grandchildren: Josh, Lyndsey, Ty, Austin. Great grandchildren: Ayla & Locklan Vick Niece Tammy Hicks, Nephew Marc Hicks (Dawn), their son Kyler, his daughter Alyssa (Justin). He leaves behind many more nieces and nephews.
Travis was involved in many clubs in Sun City West, to name a few: Spanish Club, Astronomy, Photography, & Horseshoes.
Astronomy was his life-long hobby. He made it his priority in his plans of taking trips to the dark skies to see the universe his way. As he aged and couldn’t stand long, it broke his heart to have to put it aside. He would bring everything into the backyard and try and see what he could. He would get so excited to tell me just what was out there.
Spanish was his next item to learn; he tried and tried. Once he had his stroke, all the Spanish went away, but his German from College stayed. He started taking classes again and was so determined to conquer it this time around.
He will be missed by all the people who were in his life. He was super friendly, and very, very funny.
