

Virginia B. Woodin (Heath-Henderson) Earhart, 95, fondly called Grammy Honey, and GG. Loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother, passed away peacefully March 10, 2017 after a courageous battle with Alzheimers. Her family was at her bedside.
She was the daughter of Charles A. and Beatrice R. (Stone) Woodin. A native of Manchester, NH and resided in Sun City West, AZ for the last 29 years. She worked as a calibrator for Marion Electric Instruments at the Manchester Airport in the 1950's and 60's. She moved to Stamford, CT in 1962 and started Henderson Lighting business with husband Donald Henderson. After his passing, she married Hugh Earhart, whom she lived with until his death in 2011.
She was a longtime member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Sun City West, AZ since 1987. Virginia was a sixty year member of the Order of the Eastern Star Ruth Chapter #16 NH. She volunteered at Del Webb Memorial Hospital and also served on the Posse in Sun City West, AZ.
She is predeceased by a brother, Charles A. Woodin, daughter Elvir Trudy (Heath) Girard and three former husbands, one brother-in-law and a nephew.Her family includes: daughter Brenda (Heath) Foley (husband Dan) of Sun City West, AZ; sister Joan Savoie of Barre, VT; sister-in-law Gladys Woodin, Litchfield, NH; 5 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild; 3 nieces and 2 nephews.
She was happiest travelling Europe and Hawaii. She enjoyed crafting, knitting, crocheting, and reading. She was well known for her Christmas Santa stockings.
Virginia will be greatly missed and remembered for her sense of humor, kindness, generosity and contagious laugh.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 25 at 11am., at Sunland Mortuary, 15826 Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Hospice of the West, 21410 N. 19th Ave. Suite 100, Phoenix, AZ 85027.
