Loretta, I don’t know if you remember me, but we were friends when you lived on Hazelwood in Maryvale. I think of  you from time to time, especially on your birthday which is the day before mine. So nice that your Mom lived a long life. Alzheimer’s took my Mom in 2004. I hope you’re well and happy. Take care, Holly

Dear Loretta, I'm not sure I had the honor of meeting your dear mother. I know from the special care you gave her in recent years that you love her very much. I'm sorry I could not join you for the memorial, but I recommended you both to the Lord in my prayers. A death in the family brings both grief and joy -- grief at our own loss and joy for our loved one's gain. May God bless you as you sorrow over the separation from your mother, and may He bless your mother with fullness of life in Him.

We have so many great memories of Lonnie at family get-togethers through the years.  She was always so gracious, content being surrounded by the people she loved.  Her kind, gentle spirit invited you to sit down and chat with her a while.  She had a great sense of adventure, even as age and health problems tried to hold her back.  Loretta and Lee, be observant for those fleeting moments when you encounter a little sign that you know could only have been sent to you by your loving Mom, reassuring you that she is still with you.

Oh, sweet mama Corpetti. You were the most understanding, open minded, gentle woman. We shared many great laughs together. You have taken up residence in the hearts of many of us. I'm so sad to see you go, but hopeful that we will meet again. Thank you for your bright light and unwavering love and acceptance. Blessings to your family and friends who all love you deeply.

Little tiny mammy....from the earliest days of my relationship with Loretta I could tell you were a huge part of her life and so too, you became a huge part of mine. What a wonderful mother in law you've been. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely daughter with me. We both have so many special memories of you and the fun times we had together. Just know you'll be sorely missed, but never forgotten.

We are sure Lonnie will truly be missed by Loretta and Lee and all sides of the families who's lives she touched. We shared some holidays and family parties over the years with her. She was very calm and pleasant and had a great sense of humor, especially for her generation! Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Lonnie shared my love of books and cats, leading to many enjoyable discussions at family parties. In being her most genuine self, she graced the lives of those around her and will remain in our hearts.

Even though we never met Mama Corpetti, we do know that she was loved very much. She is now singing and dancing with the angles. God bless

Oh Scrawny Lonnie you will be missed. Best Mother in Law a guy could ask for. Say hi to Mom for me. How about a little Mario Frangoulis.

She always had a smile and a kind word every time I saw her. She was a beautiful person and she will be missed.

There aren't enough kind words to say about this beautiful woman. I've known Yolanda for years and doing the work that I do I couldn't resist getting attached. Always so pleasant and greeted me with the cutest "Here comes the pill lady!" Over the years we grew closer even to where I'd just love to visit with her and family. That kind love, dedication, and spirit was like a breath of fresh air you had to breathe in. Like that beautiful butterfly you want to watch until it's out of your eyesight. That was the magic Yolanda had over you. The love of her family was like having faith restored in you. You will be missed dearly Yolanda. Prayers and love to your family.

Although I never got the chance to meet her, I've heard great stories about Mama Corpetti. I'm sure she was a wonderful woman and will be dearly missed. My condolences to you and your family. If there's anything you need, please don't hesitate to call me.

Lonnie (Mama Corpetti) was such a sweet, sweet lady. We so enjoyed sitting and talking with her at all the family functions and parties.  I am sure she is looking down on her two wonderful daughters and letting them know she is at peace and will be  watching over them.  You are in our thoughts and prayers  Lee, Loretta, Rick & Jim.

Yolanda, Tankyou for the wonderful memories we shared. I treasure the comforters you made me and they hold near and dear feelings that will last forever. I'll see you again the next adventure for Iknow our crossing paths was not just a happy hapinstance. Love and kisses until we meet again.

Lee, I remember sitting with your mom at your Halloween parties. She was such a fun lady. I am so sorry for your loss.

I am sure your mom did not remember me but I do remember her. What a sweet, sweet lady!!! I am sure she is up in heaven looking down on what beautiful ladies she had raised. Ah Momma Corpetti- if there was a party, she was there. There in all her loving spirit and acceptance of us all. She amazed me at first that someone of a parental persuasion could be so loving, kind and non-judgemental. I'm so happy that I could have known her all these years. Now she lives on in  the space of love in our hearts. Gotta tell ya though, she's filling mine up to the top!  Lee and Loretta- much love to you and your families.

Oh how we all loved Mama Corpetti! A staple at most Hodge get togethers. So many pleasant memories. Much love to you Lee and Loretta! You are in our hearts and prayers.

George and I are honored to have met her at your family get-togethers, she always enjoyed watching you all dancing and singing and enjoying your selves.  I know you will truly miss her but I know you are thankful for all of the wonderful memories you have of her.

Such a wonderful lady. I enjoyed my time with her even though they were few. She has two beautiful daughters that are in my thoughts and prayers.

My Dear Momma, thank you for being my guiding light throughout my life. You ingrained my hope, my peace, my curiosity, my stillness my determination, my fiestyness, my creativity and especially my sense of honor and love. You were the most remarkable mother, friend and confidant a girl could have. I can truthfully say that I am me (Lee) today, because you were you, (an amazing woman). You formed and created me like wet clay in a sculptor's hand. I am so grateful that during those years our spirits merged in Life's dance. Thank you for Loretta, thank you for our long talks, and thank you for always seeing that silvery lining in the darkest clouds, or that brilliant arch of a rainbow between rain drops. You have joined our ascended family, father and dear friends. Be at peace sweet Momma. We will meet again.

My dear Momma there was no one like you. In the time of our lives together you molded me with hope, inspiration creativity, determination, under- standing and most all your love. I am who I am because you were who you were. Our souls touched as mother and daughter and that spark continued during the threading of our lives with other people and families like the wonderful Hodge family. I give you full credit for showing me how to love in marriage and how to be a good wife to Rick. 

As I type these words I remember  your sweet smile, the merry way your eyes twinkled and crinkled in laughter, your nose, (yes, your nose, as an artist I always thought it was perfect). Your, soft touch, the softest most gentle in the world. I loved your fingertips, the shape of your nails. Your soft embrace, you were always there to comfort me. Your unquenchable curiosity and unbridled thinking opened mental doors for me. In some ways you were like all beloved mothers, in other ways you were far more than a mother. You were Loretta's and my best friend and confidant. You and I shared creative souls, busy hands, blazing curiosity, and an innate love of the written word. I will always remember you, before your long battle with Alzheimer's and health issues slowly changed the circumstances of all our lives. 

In this vast universe my soul could have been born to any set of parents.  Thank God, I was born to you and you gave me my sister Loretta. Rest with the angels, be at peace with dad, and all the beloved departed family and friends who welcome you. We will meet again, my sweet Momma.
