Zenon Kwik, 88, of Peoria Arizona died after a long illness on September 21st, 2012, . He was preceded in death by his son, Zenon D. Kwik and is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lydia, daughters Nancy Kwik (Federico Talamantes) and Susan (Steven Stouffer), granddaughter Nicole (Kevin Watson), grandson Zenon Michael, sisters-in-law Erica (Fritz Borchert) and Sigrid Dworrak.
Zenon was born in Ukraine and was a survivor of Dachau concentration camp. He immigrated to the United States in 1952 and owned Zeno Custom Tailor and Clothing in Clawson, Michigan for over 30 years. Zenon designed and outfitted many members of the mens Olympic skating teams during the 1960's and 70's. Zenon was also noted for the costumes he designed for many of the Detroit Auto Shows held at Cobo Hall during 1960's though the 1980's. Zenon and his wife retired to Peoria, Arizona in 1990.
A visitation will be held at 10:00am with funeral service starting at 11:00am on Wednesday September 26, 2012 at Sunland Mortuary, 15826 De Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ 85351.
