Adrienne Ries of Surprise, AZ, passed away on April 23rd, 2023 at the age of 45, surrounded by loved ones, who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest. She was born on April 8, 1978 in The Dalles, Oregon, daughter of Kenneth and Loralei (nee - DesJarlais) Ries.
Adrienne completed her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Washington in 2003, and relocated to Southern California where she worked as a geologist. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Adrienne. She loved to spend an evening with friends and a glass of wine in hand. Adrienne enjoyed spending time outdoors and playing on the beach. She was a free spirit and loved art, music, cooking, driving fast cars, and traveling.
Adrienne is survived by her father, Ken; her mother, Loralei; her sister, Erika; and her nephew Hunter. The family would like to thank Hospice of the Valley for the care and compassion they showed Adrienne in her final days.
