She was born on February 12, 1933 in Cumberland, Kentucky, to parents, Claude and Goldie Sturgill and was raised with her brother, Bill and sister, Joyce. Anna's Dad worked in the Coal Mines and her Mom was a homemaker.
Anna met Leo Sekiya in Arizona. They had 7 children, Virginia, Anita, Leo, Tim, Eddie, Alice, and Michael; 17 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Anna was a homemaker. She loved being involved in the church, camping in the White Mountains, being outdoors in the woods, and listening to the sounds of the birds. And Anna made the best fried chicken West of the Mississippi! She always had a song in her heart. Anna will be forever missed!
