Bill Costello

Bill Costello, of Surprise AZ, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at the age of 79. Bill was born on February 7,1945, in Flint, Michigan. He grew up in Swartz Creek where he graduated high school in 1963. He married Madeline LaFerriere in 1964, and they shared 60 years together. He worked 41 years at the Buick Plant at General Motors until he retired.

Bill was an accomplished artist who enjoyed painting, sketching, and creating sculptures. Whether he was building a house, making a hope chest or finishing concrete, you knew you were getting something top of the line.

He was preceded in death by his parents Roy Costello and Nancy (McCollum), siblings, Harold Trout, Gerald, Phillip, Charles, and Mike Costello and Carol Spalding.

He is survived by his wife Madeline Costello, sons Timothy, Steve, and Sean (Ely) Costello, daughters Julie (Brian) Halleck and Cathy (Fred) Perakovic, sister Geneva Rivard, 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

A small funeral will be held in AZ where he made his home.
