Music was one of Candice’s greatest passions. She loved singing alongside Crystal and learned to play both the guitar and guitalele. Through music, testimony, and personal ministry, she shared her faith and encouraged others to find hope in every season of life. Whether on a stage, in a church, or during a simple conversation, Candice had a gift for connecting with people and pointing them toward God’s love and faithfulness.
A lifelong learner with a servant’s heart, Candice earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Recreational Therapy from Arizona State University. She dedicated her life to helping others, using her compassion, strength, and empathy to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those around her.
Candice’s life was a powerful testimony of perseverance and faith. Living with the rare genetic disorder Hermansky-Pudlak Syndrome and later facing multiple battles with cancer, she met each challenge with remarkable courage, grace, and unwavering trust in God. Though her journey was often difficult, she remained steadfast in her faith and became an inspiration to countless family members, friends, caregivers, and strangers who witnessed her resilience. Though cancer and illness became part of Candice’s story, they never defined her; her faith, joy, and love for others always shined brighter.
Above all else, Candice loved the Lord, her family, and the community she built through her ministry and advocacy. She will be remembered for her beautiful voice, compassionate heart, radiant smile, enduring strength, and the hope she so freely shared with others.
