Carl Edward Stevens Jr.

Carl Stevens, of Buckeye, Arizona, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family and friends. Born in Austin, Texas, Carl built a life defined by hard work, loyalty, and deep devotion to the people he cared about.

He was a proud husband to Mary Stevens, with whom he shared a loving marriage for 29 years. Together they built a home filled with laughter, love, and countless memories.

Carl also spent many years enjoying life in California, especially San Diego — where he grew to be a lifelong fan of the Chargers and Padres. His enthusiasm for his teams was infectious, and his game‑day spirit brought joy to everyone around him.

As the owner and agent of White Tank Properties, Carl dedicated more than ten years to serving his community with integrity and professionalism. His work reflected his character — steady, honest, and always willing to go the extra mile for others.

Family was at the center of Carl’s world. Whether celebrating milestones, birthdays, holidays, or simply spending time together, he cherished every moment.

Carl had a gift for making people feel welcome. Friends knew him for his easy laugh, his generosity, and his belief that “it only costs a little more to go first class,” a phrase he loved and lived by. He enjoyed travel, time with loved ones, and the simple pleasure of being present with the people who mattered most.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; his siblings Paula, Chuck and Sherri; his children Eddie, Melissa, and Channing; grandchildren Dylan, Tiffany, Bella, River, Wesley, and Jameson; great‑grandchildren, Aubrey Marie and Anthony; and many extended family members and friends who will forever hold his memory close.

Carl’s legacy is one of kindness, commitment, and love — a life well lived and deeply appreciated.

A celebration of Carl’s life will be held at Saguaro Center, 26275 West Morrow Drive, Buckeye Arizona 85396, on Sunday, September 20th, beginning at 12:30 p.m. In Carl’s memory, everyone is invited to dress in their favorite Padres or Chargers gear. The family invites all who knew him to join in honoring his memory and watching two of his favorite teams.
