

Carmen, born on January 10, 1941, in Atotonilco el Alto, Jalisco, Mexico, passed away peacefully on December 1st, 2025. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. In 1962, Carmen and her husband “Honey” moved to the United States, where they built a life filled with love and joy, raising six children in Encintas, California.
Carmen cherished singing and dancing with her family and took great pride in watching her husband and children participate in Charreria competitions across Arizona and California. She was beloved by all who knew her, much like her mother, Mama Chayo. Carmen enjoyed traveling across the USA and Canada with her husband and treasured moments spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. This year, on December 29th, she and her husband would have celebrated 63 years of marriage. Carmen’s legacy of love and family will be fondly remembered by all.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, located at 244 North Tegner Street, Wickenburg, AZ, 85390. The service is scheduled for December 16, 2025, starting at 10:00 am.
