Carol Ann Robinson

Carol Ann Robinson, (nee Mercer), entered eternal life on December 28, 2012, in Surprise, AZ, at the age of 65. She was born on August 27, 1947, in Chicago, IL , one of four children to Norman Bailey and Rose Marie Mercer. Carol was a loyal and humble spirit, devoted to her family. She will be forever loved and missed. Carol attended Morton West High School in Berwyn, IL. Carol moved to Scottsdale, AZ, in her thirties. She was a Contract Specialist for Banner Health, before retiring in March of 2011, with 20 years of service. Carol enjoyed many hobbies: genealogy, bowling, games and movies and was recently inducted into the Daughters of the American Revolution, Estrella Chapter. With her beloved husband Paul, together they would travel the world visiting Portugal, Austria, Germany, Mexico, Italy and many other foreign places. Carol is survived by her devoted and loving husband, of 18 years, Paul J. Robinson; and their loving children, Linda (Bob) Snyder, Sheryl (Erik) Nordstrom, Kim (Dan) Haesemeyer and David (Tavya) Robinson; six dear grandchildren, Cadence, Paul, Wade, Kathleen, Paige and expecting Rex in February; one brother Norman J. Mercer and one sister Veronica R. Samos; and a host of friends - especially her three very dear friends, Eva Gomez, Vanessa Stewart and Pat Boehnlein. Carol is preceded in death by both her parents and one brother, James Mercer. The Memorial Service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 4, 2012, with Visitation beginning at 10:30 AM at Surprise Funeral Care, 16063 W. Bell Rd., Surprise, AZ.
