Charles Clifton Holland Jr.

Charles Clifton Holland, Jr., 73, of Sun City, AZ, passed away into the arms of the Lord on May 1, 2014. Charles is the beloved husband of Sandra; loving father of Laura Wilson and Charlotte (John) Simms; beloved grandfather of Michael, Jake and Sarah Franklin and Josiah and Asher Simms; brother of Tom (Mary Ann) Holland and David Holland; one niece and three nephews. Charles and Sandra began their life together on August 4, 1967. Charles was an Insurance Claims Manager and Claims Representative for about 36 years. He began his career with, Royal Insurance, then Argonaut Insurance, Western Insurance and retiring from Century Insurance in 2009. He earned his degree in CIC Designation in Phoenix. For the past 12 years, Charles was an active member of Palmcroft Baptist Church. He also served as a deacon for 10 years at North Phoenix Baptist Church. Charles had many hobbies that included woodworking, Ham Radio, and golfing just to name a few. He had a great passion for his five grandchildren, and will be deeply missed and forever loved. The Memorial Service will be at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Palmcroft Baptist Church, 15825 N. 35th Ave., Phoenix, AZ. Memorial contributions may be made in Charles’ memory to Palmcroft Baptist Church Easter Fund. Interment at Resthaven Park Cemetery, Glendale, AZ.
