He leaves behind his loving wife of 45 years, Debra; his daughter and son-in-law Michelle and Geoff Kostelecky; his grandchildren Madyson, Geoff Jr. and Morgyn Kostelecky; his sister Kathie Buckley and her husband Ian; his brother Mike Nance and his wife Joy; nieces and nephews Jasper and Liam Buckley and Jennifer Nance. He is preceded in death by his son Michael Nance and his parents Bob and MaryLou Nance.
Chuck was born in San Diego California on September 26th 1953. He served in the United States Air Force from August 1971 to June 1975. He started working at the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad in June of 1977 and retired from the BNSF Railroad in October of 2013, He was a railroader through and through having worked as an engineer, road foreman and terminal trainmaster. You could always find Chuck watching Trains Around the World from his favorite recliner. He loved the outdoors taking his grandchildren camping and fishing as well as bowling and golf with his wife.
His greatest pride and joy was his family and the love and special memories they brought. He was a great man who was deeply loved by his family and will truly be missed by all.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
