SCOGGINS, Christopher Ryan, 44, a United States Air Force Veteran, Firefighter Captain, and Red Iron Motorcycle Club Brother, was born in Grand Junction, Colorado, on July 02, 1973, and was taken from us on May 13, 2018. He was preceded in death by his brother, Captain Brian Scoggins, USAF. Chris is survived by his wife, Aimee (Searl) Scoggins; mother Renata Scoggins; father James Scoggins; daughter Alexis; son, Logan; and sister, Daneen; his aunts, Kim Csernay and her husband John Csernay, Cindy Aman, and Franca Longo; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and family and friends in Italy and Australia. He was an amazing husband, son, and father. He married the love of his life, Aimee Scoggins, on August 13, 2016, and has two beautiful children, Alexis, age 21, and Logan, age 8. Chris was a happy, active child, who spent his childhood on the family Peach Orchard and was proud to say he learned to drive tractors at age 7. As a teenager, Chris moved to Paso Robles, California, where he attended Paso Robles High School. Chris was a Paso Robles Bearcat and lettered in Football and Track. After High School Chris joined the United States Air Force, where he proudly served his country as a Firefighter from 1992-1999. Continuing his love of firefighting, he moved to Arizona, where he enjoyed a seventeen year career at the Barry M. Goldwater Auxiliary Range, and earned the rank of Captain. Chris was an active, happy and social man, who also loved riding his motorcycle, and was so proud to become a Brother in Red Iron MC Maricopa County. We would be remiss if we didn't mention his fierce loyalty to the Denver Broncos, and his fun-loving dedication to being a Jimmy Buffet Parrothead! A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday May 26, 2018, at 10:00 AM at Christ’s Church of the Valley (CCV-Peoria), located at 7007 W. Happy Valley Road, in Peoria Arizona.
