Dan had his own tractor business after he retired from the Federal Government. He enjoyed working outside and riding his tractors.

Danny was my BEST friend. He was 1 grade ahead of me, but we are only a couple of months apart. We use to party together, travel the boulevard and get in trouble at times. I remember being his best man and attending his first wedding at lake Tahoe and him opening his gifts from the wedding. The Last time I saw him was at our 50th reunion in Layton, Utah. I only found out about his death, because I tried to call him just now and was searching for his new phone number. My heart felt sorrow goes out to Mary.

Ute and I have know Dan and Mary for a relatively short period of time, but in that time we enjoyed Dan’s company as we went out for a lunch or dinner, in which he shared many stories of his family, and fond memories of growing up in Utah. We learned through our conversations that he had been in several of the locations we were stationed at in the Army or had visited. We first met Dan through his tractor works, as he mowed a property that we had here in the valley. Ute and I always said that Dan lived a full and eventful life! Fair sailing Dan and God bless you!! 


Danny and I grew up together. Even went into the Navy under the buddy program. We shared so many experiences during our teenage years and crossed paths many times while in military service.  It is hard for me to believe Danny has passed. Such a shock to me. But I have great memories of my friend.  He was the right person who I needed in order to grow up. I am today, in part because Danny had such an positive influence in my life. May God bless Danny's family.
