First, my condolences to Maria, Beka and family. We met through Beka in our Avondale neighborhood, as a young couple my wife Ellen and I kept in contact over the years with Beka and saw Dave on many occasion.
We attended birthdays for the girls and I had the chance spend time with Dave and envy the joy and love he had for his girls and family. Awesome provider, and a kind and strong spirit! Your legacy lives on, and by faith we’ll meet again in Christ!

My grandpa loved to take us on vacations and spoil us with everything. I loved when we went to Legoland and went on the lazy river and all of the water rides and the dragon ride, my grandpa had no fear going on every ride no matter how fast or crazy it was.

My favorite thing that i'm going to miss about my grandpa is the silly things he does with my sister's and I. He just acted so goofy all the time and was always fun and loving and always made sure we got to have amazing experiences with him and my grandma either going to the resorts, legoland, road trips, bar b q's at their house just spending family time together. I'm going to miss you so much grandpa.

To Maria and family. I have many fond memories of Dave and your family. I was so blessed to have been able to stay with you during a difficult time in my life. You opened up your home and your family to not just me but anyone in need. Your selfless acts of love and kindness will never be forgotten. The Sunday meals for all the new comers at church to teaching and picking up Children's Church supplies all bring a smile to my face. Sending you and your family my love and prayers during this time in your life.

During my father's fight with cancer he sent me a text that read
"We did what we did because that is what God inspired us to do. We are happy That God choose you to be our daughter."
I was adopted when I was 3 months old and I've been blessed to have such a wonderful family. I couldn't of imagined having a better father for myself or such an amazing adventurous grandfather for my girls.
We Love you Daddy 💗
