Dawn Rene Robinson

Dawn was born on September 28, 1957, in Crete, Nebraska. She grew up in Salina, Kansas, where she attended Salina High School, then graduated from Kansas Wesleyan University, earning her Registered Nurse (RN) Degree.

Dawn found that working with older people and those in critical care especially fulfilling; however, as much as Dawn enjoyed bring a nurse, her family was her world. She so loved the activities they enjoyed together.

Dawn was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph ( ); mother, Marie Rick (1991); sister, Sheila Green (1996); and father, Jim Rick (1999).

She is survived by her husband, Doug; daughters, Jennifer Rietbrock, Christine Griffith and Alivia Robinson; grandchildren, Ian, Carly, Macie, Ricki, Tyler, Gracie and Dalia; brothers, Jim Rick, Shawn (Lita) Rick, Kevin Rick (Trisha), and Kelly Rick; sisters, Coleen Beck (Joe), Roxanne Hornberger (Tony); and many nieces and nephews.

The Funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at 2:00 PM, at Western Hills Baptist Church, 12301 W. Glendale Ave, Glendale, Arizona. Pastor Greg Hardesty will officiate.
