Donna Lois Rozelle

Donna Lois Rozelle, a gentle and kind-hearted soul, passed away on October 28, 2025, at the age of 90. Donna was born on December 9, 1934, in San Diego, California, and spent her formative years in Lemon Grove, where she enjoyed helping her mother and father maintain their small lemon orchard. She was known for her adventurous spirit, often riding horses with friends and enjoying the company of her dog, Boots.

Donna graduated from Bonito High School and pursued higher education at the University of Arizona, later transferring to the University of California, where she obtained a degree in Occupational Therapy and created life-long friendships with her Sorority sisters in Alpha Phi. Her career began as an intern with the VA hospital, followed by work at Camarillo Hospital. Over the years, she also embraced roles as an elementary school teacher and a real estate agent.

Donna is survived by her son Jon and his wife Bea, her granddaughters Tanya and Bailey, her grandson Travis, and her great grandchildren Kian, Lilly, and Cooper. She is also remembered by her grandpups, Mousse and Nova. Her family finds solace in the fact that she is now reunited in Heaven with the friends, family, and cherished pets who preceded her.

Her personal interests were vast and varied, including playing the violin, listening to classical music, dancing, singing, and traveling. Donna especially treasured moments spent with her grandchildren, whether reading to them, taking them to the beach, or watching them grow. Her joy was evident in family gatherings. Nothing made her happier than gathering her family around the table, where she loved preparing special dishes and sharing her recipes with her loved ones. Donna loved sharing Her childhood tales of galloping on horses through orchards on moonlit rides. Donna loved sharing her animated travel adventures which were a testament to her vibrant imagination and resilient, spunky spirit. A spirit that will be treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In celebration of her life, and in lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Donna Rozelle’s name to Best Friends Animal Society, located at 5001 Angel Canyon Road, Kanab, Utah, 84741-5000, phone (435) 644-2001.

Donna's laugh and memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she loved, as friends and family were at the core of her being.
