Thank you for always welcoming me with open arms any time I came around. I will never forget the smile you would greet me with once I walked through the door. You and Lupe have always held a special place in my heart and I will forever be grateful for all the moments and memories we've shared! My heart breaks for Lupe, Amanda, Junior and the boys but I know you did everything you could to provide for your family and for that I've always have had such respect for you! As I walk around especially during the NFL season when many are celebrating  and hoping for their victors.   I find myself in deep sadness knowing that I won’t see your text or hear your voice about the Raiders.  Saying “ I think this is the year”.  true commitment.   I hold onto the memories with you and my children.  The way you ether danced with Hannah at 1am in the morning or worked with her Jiu-Jitsu and of course we can’t forget the hearty laughters . I thank you for welcoming my daughter into your home and treating her as your own. I know Florentina will always have her own cherished memories.  I watched how you sincerely engaged Aaron about his life, job  and college baseball years.  I am forever grateful.  Thank you for always being there in celebrating our families achievements. 

I especially loved how you loved my Sister  always holding her above yourself.   I had a first class seat in watching you raise Amanda and Jr you were always supportive in all that they do, always being that Dad and Mentor .  Watching you play with your grandkids brought tears of joy.  A Dad /Grandpa of honor ! .  I also remember your love for your siblings Reyna, Danny and Marcy .  You were so proud of Marcy , your eyes always lit up with joy.  

I was deeply touched how you took care of my Mother and Father, when called upon.  A true stand up gentleman.  

Life was simple for you ; you worked hard and loved your family.  You were the epitome of Husband and Father. 

Raider nation I will forever remember your smile,  sunglasses and black cap while holding a cold one.  You enjoyed life as it was meant to be “within your family and through your family”  i know many of us will never be the same but we are forever changed knowing you.  I am deeply honored  to have been your Brother - In-Law  Love ya Raider Nation ( Edgar) .

My friends,  my family. Words can not express my sadness.  This is all so surreal, I just can't believe he's gone. The sun will shine a little less bright but there's one more bright star at night.  A real angel in heaven to watch over all of you.   Edgar will truly be missed each and every day by all that know and love him.  My dear friend Lupe.  My heart is in a thousand pieces for you. I have been trying to think of the right words to say and I’ve come to realize there really aren’t any. I’m at a loss of words and in pure shock. You were a dedicated and loving husband to Lupe, an amazing dad to Amanda and Junior and a phenomenal grandpa to the boys. I can’t believe you’re gone. You are, and will always be missed. I am grateful for the memories we shared and I will always appreciate how you welcomed me into your family. The countless family gatherings and parties and just the day to day time spent at your house. You cared deeply for not only me, but everyone you got to know. You always had the biggest heart. I will always love you and the family. May you Rest In Peace. 💜🙏🏼

We will miss Edgar dearly! He was an amazing, kind and hella fun human being. He and Renee (Lupe) were so great together and we are happy to have made great memories with them over the years.
A few funnies- one evening we partied a bit too hard and Renee fell asleep on my couch. Edgar said he wanted to sleep where SHE WAS! (as he pointed to her sleeping)  we got her up, he semi- carried her to my guest room because she was half asleep and they went to bed! He ALWAYS had her back, and that is irreplaceable. Another time, we walked to a local hang out, had a blast (of course)! walked over to Mickey D’s next door past 2am, got food, left with the food tray! And put Renee in a nearby stranded shopping cart and rode her back to my house around the corner laughing all the way!  Good times!! I remember I met you when I was 8 maybe. You worked with my mom at that office building in downtown l.a. I used to miss school and my mom would have to bring me to work. I used to draw you smiling faces. After that you and your brothers were over all the time. We had great times at raging waters, magic mountain, Las Vegas, Hoover damn,  Mexico. So many fond memories. I wish I could have visited you.  I'm glad my brother got that chance two years ago. Rest in paradise Edgar you will be missed. ❤

I never am short on words but your passing has left me speechless. From the very first time we met you, you hugged us all and welcomed us in. You’ve seen the ups and cheers us on through them and the downs and guided us through those. You always had a smile on your face and made sure so did everyone around you. You are the life of the party! Thank you for making sure we all remembered what’s important in life, for making us family and supporting us in all we did. We will miss you more than we can even say but know you’re still with us. I know when I’m arguing with someone you’ll be in my ear yelling “get em ash”, when I sell more s’more Girl Scout cookies than anything else, it’s you, and when I’m harassing Amanda, I’ll make sure she knows it’s always us against her. Haha. We love you. So so much. 

To Lupe and the rest of our family, we are holding you guys in our thoughts and extra tight. Please, if you need anything, we are here. Anything. Any time. We love you all so much. 

I’m blown away.  Can’t believe this.  My sincere condolences to your wife and family.  I’ll forever remember that time you, the lil red head kid Ruben and I ran into eachother at Bell Library. I can’t believe Edgar has passed away. I’m so sorry for your loss, Lupe. Edgar had a heart of gold, caring for everyone and  ALWAY made people feel welcome and like family. He will always be in our hearts and memories. We feel very lucky to have known both of you.  Getting together at the beach. Edgar loved his family so much and it meant the world to him to be with Lupe, his grown children and  grandchildren.  When he talked about his grandchildren he would have a big smile and shine with pride. Rest In Peace our friend. You ALWAY brought sunshine into our lives. You are the last person I thought I would be sharing a memory for.  We never had the best relationship but what co parents do.  We more recently shared some good times with the kids and Grandkids.  You were a great Dad to Amanda and Junior, and a wonderful Grandpa to your Grandboys and let's not forget , the perfect husband to Lupe.   You always welcomed me, my kids, and even my husband into your home and treated us like family.  Such an amazing person.  We will never forget you.  You will be missed by so many. It’s very hard to believe you are gone, you were like a father to me and you have  always treated me like your son. I learned a lot from you, I want to thank you for everything you’ve done for me and my family.  We miss you every day and will always remind Jackson, Jace, Jasper how much you love them

I have known Edgar since  my daughter Liz  was 16 yrs old  Edgar welcome my daughter to the family like his own daughter he was the sweetest man he love my daughter like a daughter  😭 I’m going to miss him picking at me with Raiders & Steelers will also miss him being my battle dancing partner at his party  he will forever b in our ❤️ RIP Edgar my friend ♥️

Jackson and Jace were so lucky to be able to  call you their grandpa. The love you gave and showed them can’t be put into words. They loved you so much and always had the best time with you. I will make sure that Cody and I always keep your Spirit alive within them and they will never forget just how amazing of a grandpa you are. When jasper is born he will also grow up to know just how amazing you are and how much you loved him before he was even born! We love you so much, I know you will watch over the boys and be with them in everything they do.
