

Elizabeth Browne Lubitz Greenberg, 89, of Surprise, Arizona passed away on March 24, 2012. She was born on January 14, 1923 in Cranford, New Jersey, and spent most of her life in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
As a young woman, Elizabeth was a professional singer and toured with big band orchestras as a featured soloist known as "Bettie Browne - Little Miss Cutie". She had many interests including theater, music, anthropology, and ancient Egyptian history. She worked as a dental assistant and in her later years volunteered as a mentor and a tutor for children and adults with learning disabilities.
Elizabeth is preceded in death by her husband, Burton Greenberg and by her son Kenneth Lubitz Jr.
She is survived by her son Robin Lubitz, her daughter-in-law Joanne Lubitz, her stepdaughters Nancy Pole, Marcia Filstein and Judith Mather; and seven grandchildren. Her family and friends will miss her warmth, compassion, sense of humor, and natural curiosity.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 P.M., Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the Unitarian Society of Germantown, 6511 Lincoln Drive, Philadelphia, PA.
