Evie teed off in this world on June 26th, 1932, in Toledo, Ohio. Daughter of Lola Maude and Anthony Mesick, her starters. Her caddies and score keepers include Rebecca Sue, Jeri Lyn, and Kathy Ann. Her gallery includes Casey and Michele Stewart, Holly Hutchinson Hills, Sara Jo Mattox, and Krystal Lee Hutchinson. Rounding it out is an additional great-grand gallery of future duffers: Aubrey, Xavier, Abraham, Sarah, Bradley, Jonah, David, Gabriella, and Maria. We can't forget to mention her great fans: Ertis, Ash, Tim, Alissa, and AJ.
When not on the greens, Evie could be found swimming the Panama Canal, surfing Hawaii, zip-lining Belize, kissing the Blarney Stone, dancing across the desert, cruising the seas, or teaching Germans and Mexicans to "get tight." She played through our lives without a "Gimme" or a "Mulligan." Evie caught up with her best partner at the 19th Hole on January 23rd, 2013, saying, "That was fun. I should 've done that sooner."
