Henry Paul Roy

Henry Paul Roy passed unexpectedly and peacefully in Surprise, AZ on October 13, 2025 surrounded by his wife of 58 years and his two sons.

Paul was born in Sainte-Cecile, Quebec Canada on July 4, 1944 and immigrated to Barre, VT with his parents at the age of 4. He married the love of his life Anne Marie Beaudoin in 1967. He graduated from VT Technical School in Agriculture and utilized this degree helping large-scale produce growers succeed in the northeast. He worked as an Agricultural Sales Representative for several companies in VT and upstate NY throughout his career before retiring to Surprise, AZ in 2003.

In retirement Paul had a passion for flying model airplanes, playing billiards and horseshoes with his many friends at Sun City Grande. He also loved watching his two grandchildren compete in college lacrosse more than anything.

He is survived by his wife Anne of Surprise, AZ, his son Michael of Phoenix AZ and his son John, daughter-in-law Bridget, grandson Jacob and granddaughter Cailean all of Brookline, NH. He is also survived by his sister Lucille Dufresne of Gilbert, AZ and sisters-in-law Lise Roy of Mesa, AZ, Mary Bullis of East Barre, VT and Lorraine Dessureau of Ft. Walton Beach, FL. He also is survived by several nieces and nephews and their families.

A funeral is scheduled for Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 19002 N 128th Ave., Sun City West AZ 85375 @ 10 am followed by a reception at the Sun City Grande Agua Fria room @ the Cimarron 17100 W Clearview Blvd, Surprise, AZ 85387, ending at 3pm. All are welcome to attend and celebrate.
