Jack Leon Dempsey, 83, passed away on February 27, 2026. Beloved and devoted, Jack was a longtime Arizona resident, having made Arizona home since 1946. Jack lived in Arizona Traditions and, most recently, Sun City West.
A proud Army Veteran, Jack served in the 101st Airborne during the 1960’s. Following his military service, his employment included Arizona Mining Companies, where he worked in purchasing, computer IT, and management.
In retirement, Jack enjoyed golf, among other activities. He held golf memberships at Deer Valley Men’s Club and Trail Ridge Men’s Club. Jack was a 63-year ELKS member and Past Exalted Ruler (P.E.R.). His last affiliation was with the Tempe 2251 Lodge. Per the families request, services are not planned. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Hospice of the Valley.
