I had such a great time with Jane and Lavonne when they visited me for two weeks in France. They were great company as we explored castles along the Loire. As I told Roger the word I would use to describe Jane is vibrant.  When I showed up on her doorstep in Phoenix at five thirty in the morning many years ago, Jane and Ed were gracious hosts. My heart goes out to you, Ed.

Our loss is heaven's gain. You're in my thoughts and prayers as you live your lives without your beloved wife, mother and grandmother.
 We were in several music groups together in Shenandoah. In 1954 our madrigal was invited to sing at a nat'l convention in Chicago.   What an experience that was, riding the train, and then singing for  music educators from all over the country.  Then again 50 years later, in 2004, our former choral music director, Dr. Lee Kjelson, invited us to sing at Carnegie  Hall as a part of his assembled singers from his past  groups. It was if no time had passed! Jane was the same vibrant personality and gifted musician as in H.S. days. 
She was loved and will be missed. May God bless and comfort you.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to Ed, family and all of Jane's numerous friends.When Kathy and I think of Jane we immediately remember her constant smile and infectious sense of humor. I am sorry I was never able to tell Jane that she was my favorite sister-in-law. Mainly because she was my only one. She would have had a good laugh. May fond memories of Jane's smile and laughter bring comfort, even as you all face these dark days.

Jane and I enjoyed many joyous trips to Chico's together. Her sense of style, good humor and spunk will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

Jane and I grew up together in Shenandoah, Iowa.  She was a delightful person and made everyone feel good just being around her.  My deepest sympathy to Ed and all of Jane's family and friends.  She will never be forgotten.

Jane & I enjoyed many bridge and MahJongg games and golf in Pinwood.  She always had a smile on her face no matter how bad she felt.  She will be greatly missed.  Our thoughts and prayers are with Ed & family. Barbara Gerstel.

What a tremendous loss to many friends and family.  My thoughts are particularly with Ed and family. Jane was such a special person, an excellent teacher very dedicated to her students and loyal to family and friends.  I greatly admired her many talents, enjoyed her personality and loved to hear her laugh.  It was my pleasure to work with her at Sevilla School.

Jane was a close and dear friend of  mine and Chris.  We had many cruises and tours together as couples.  She was a favorite bridge partner on the cruises and other events.  We will miss her and her ready smile and distinctive laugh which we knew so often.
Losing Jane has certainly diminished our lives.

Jane and I have played bridge, Mah Jongg, P.E.O. golf, lady Putters and many activities together since 1965.  I will certainly miss my partner.

We have wonderful memories of Jane  as a friend and neighbor in Munds Park.  Especially those block parties!  Lots of fun,  our thoughts and prayers are with Ed and family.

I have longstanding fond memories of Jane and the whole VanBuskirk family as we all were active in the Shenandoah First Presbyterian Church.  Jane was a sweetheart, and so was her mother, Lavonne.  Condolences to her family.

To Ed and Jane's many family and friends,

Jane will be so missed by her Munds Park gang.  We laughed and we talked openly about our health issues and always with Jane smiling and hopeful.  I'll miss her!

Jean and I have beautiful memories of a wonderfull neighbor for the last 14 years, a cruise to Alaska and visits to Northern Arizona at their cabin in the woods.  
Jane was a gracious hostess and we enjoyed many wonderful meals, visits,  and games of dominos in their home.
Our heartfelt condolences to Ed and family for their loss.
